Terms & Conditions

1. About Us
Your Next Step Consultancy (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides education consultancy and relocation support services. These services include, but are not limited to, university guidance and primary and secondary school placement advice.

2. Scope of Services
We provide advisory services designed to support clients in making informed decisions regarding education and relocation. Our services may include personalized university and school recommendations, consultation sessions, and general relocation guidance.
All services are provided in an advisory capacity only. We do not submit applications or act on behalf of clients unless explicitly agreed in writing.
The scope of services is limited to what is explicitly agreed upon. Any additional support or services requested beyond the agreed scope may be subject to additional fees.

3. No Guarantee of Outcomes
All services provided by Your Next Step Consultancy are advisory in nature.
While we aim to provide accurate and tailored guidance, we do not guarantee admission to any university or school, acceptance into specific programs, scholarship awards, visa approvals, or housing placements.
Clients acknowledge that all final decisions are made by third-party institutions and authorities, and outcomes may vary regardless of our recommendations.

4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. Clients must attend scheduled sessions on time and inform us of any changes that may affect the services provided.
We are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by the client.
All recommendations are provided based on the information supplied and should be considered as guidance only. Final decisions remain the responsibility of the client or, in the case of minors, the parent or legal guardian.
For services involving minors, parents or legal guardians are solely responsible for all decisions made on behalf of the child and for ensuring that all relevant information is disclosed.

5. Fees and Payment
All fees are listed in euros (€) and must be paid in full in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing. Services will only be confirmed once payment has been received.
All payments are non-refundable, including in cases where the client decides not to proceed, applications or outcomes are unsuccessful, or the client does not fully utilize the service.
Fees are charged for professional advisory services, time, and expertise, not for specific outcomes.
By purchasing our services, clients acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Consultation sessions may be rescheduled free of charge if at least 24 hours’ notice is provided. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the session may be forfeited without refund.
We reserve the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances.
While we aim to provide timely services, we do not guarantee specific timelines unless explicitly agreed in writing.

7. Third-Party Services
We may provide recommendations or facilitate introductions to universities, schools, or other external parties.
However, we are not responsible for the actions, advice, availability, decisions, or outcomes of any third-party institutions or individuals.
We are also not responsible for changes in policies, admission requirements, or decisions made by third-party institutions or authorities.

8. Data Protection (GDPR)
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We collect and use personal data only as necessary to deliver our services. This may include contact details, academic background, and relevant personal information.
We ensure that personal data is stored securely and is not shared without consent, unless required to provide services or by law.
Clients have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data at any time.
For services involving minors, personal data will only be processed with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Further details are outlined in our Privacy Policy.

9. Confidentiality
All client information will be treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of delivering our services, unless disclosure is required by law.

10. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by Your Next Step Consultancy, including reports, guides, and recommendations, remain our intellectual property.
These materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, distributed, or resold without prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Next Step Consultancy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our services, decisions made based on our advice, outcomes related to admissions, visas, or housing, or actions or decisions of third-party institutions.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service.

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands.

13. Agreement
By purchasing or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

14. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, or other unforeseen disruptions.

15. Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at our discretion if a client provides false or misleading information, behaves in a disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate manner, or fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
In such cases, no refund will be provided.
